STEP 1

Every second, billions of tiny particles called neutrinos pass through your entire body without you feeling anything at all.
Most neutrinos come from the sun, but some travel from the far edges of the universe and carry enormous amounts of energy.
The IceCube Observatory in Antarctica uses more than five thousand sensors buried up to two and a half kilometres deep in the ice to detect these particles.
When a neutrino collides with an ice molecule, it produces a brief flash of blue light that the sensors record.
Francis Halzen, the Belgian-American physicist who spent decades designing and building IceCube, was awarded the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics on October 6 for this pioneering work.B2

3번 문장의 숫자 정보가 끝 쪽에 있어요. more than five thousand sensors(5천여 개), up to two and a half kilometres deep(최대 2.5킬로미터 깊이) — 끝까지 읽어야 규모를 파악할 수 있어요.

수동태 by-agent

5번의 was awarded the Nobel Prize는 수동태예요. '상을 받았다'는 뜻이고, 수여 주체(by the committee)는 생략됐어요. for this pioneering work는 이유를 나타내는 문장 끝 정보예요.

STEP 4
